On the way to the autonomous mobile machine of tomorrow, we pursue a three-stage introduction scenario in which the degree of automation increases successively with each step. We distinguish between assistance functions that are already available today, partially automated systems that will be available in the medium term, and long-term, fully automated solutions. Currently ("Today"), robust assistance systems already reliably support machine operators. In the near future (“Tomorrow”), software will automatically evaluate and visualize the collected sensor data as needed. Our "Vision" is a range of highly automated, networked systems with artificial intelligence (AI) and connections to cloud computers.

We develop products specifically for off-highway markets

Whether agricultural, construction or forestry machinery, municipal or material handling equipment - we have the right solution for each one of your mobile machines. Backed by the extensive knowledge and product availability of our automotive divisions, we are additionally developing new products and services specifically for off-highway markets. This enables us to work together with you on making your machines even more automated while you keep the expertise about specific domains and corresponding use cases in-house.

First level: our hardware component portfolio brings your machine closer to autonomy

When it comes to automation, various hardware components quickly come into play. We have an open and holistic approach to support a variety of sensor and control components to automate your mobile machinery. Not only do we offer perception sensors such as our radar sensors, ultrasonic systems, and a multi-camera system, we also collaborate within the Bosch Group to offer even more components to enable broader solutions for your application. In addition, with our open approach, we also support third-party sensors and control units, allowing us to adapt our solutions to even more use cases and machines.

Third level: beyond our products, we support you with tailor-made engineering services

We accompany you from the project start to the first prototype, up to your end-user ready solution for automated mobile machinery. Our developments are tailored to the off-highway markets to provide you with a needs-based, individual, and sustainable off-highway application. With our open and holistic approach, we support industry standards such as ROS/ROS 2. Combined with our safety-ready and safety-rated sensor systems, we offer you solutions to bring your machine to the market.
